Donations to Science Society of India is approved under section 80G(5)(vi) of the Income Tax Act, 1961.

Due to recent change in FCRA regulation SSI is not accepting donation in foreign currency. The approval process of creating a new bank account is in progress. As of now, we can accept donations only in Indian Rupee currency.
You can transfer funds
directly using NEFT to our bank account (see NEFT account details below); or
drop the cheque in favour of "SCIENCE SOCIETY OF INDIA" at any HDFC ATM within India.
